Women's League

The Great Upstate Lacrosse League (GULL) is a competitive summer league for high school graduates (including current seniors), college players, and alumni. Open to all skill levels, the GULL brings together athletes from hundreds of college programs across all divisions.

This league is a great way for players to stay in shape throughout the summer, have fun, stay active and prepare for college level lacrosse.

Summer '25 Details

The league runs from the week of June 16th through the week of July 28th, concluding with playoffs and a championship.

  • Eligibility: Open to players who have graduated from high school — including graduating seniors.
  • Rosters: Each team must have a minimum of 20 players.
  • Game Nights: Games are scheduled for Monday or Wednesday nights. Adjustments may be made for field conflicts or holidays.
  • Locations: All games are played on turf fields, typically at these site.
    • Webster Schroeder High School (875 Ridge Road, Webster, NY 14580)
    • Nazareth University (4245 East Ave, Rochester, NY 14618

Spots are limited! Due to high demand, we strongly recommend early team registration to secure your place in the league.

 

Registration

Players are encouraged to organize and register a full team roster. If you don’t have a team but want to play this summer, you can sign up through our Free Agent Registration — we’ll help place you on a team. Early registration is highly recommended to secure your team’s spot in the league.

Player Cost: $175 (includes a league-issued jersey).

Team Registration

To register a team, captains must complete the "Women's Team Registration" form on the registrations page. After we receive your submission, we will open registration for your teammates.

Player Registration

Following the registration of your team, by your team captain, each individual team player is required to register under the "Women's Player Registration" form on the registrations page. You will need to select your team name in order to register.

Free Agent Registration

If you do not have a team, but would like to play this summer, please register under the "Women's Free Agent Registration" form on the registrations page. If an existing team roster players, we will pull from the free agent registrations. In addition, if we receive enough free agent requests we will create an "at large team".

Reminders

  • TOP 4 TEAMS MAKE THE PLAYOFFS! Rankings will be determined by the following criteria. 1) Best Overall Record 2) Head to Head 3) Goals Against 4) Goals Scored

  • If for any reason, a player does not have their league issued jersey, they should ask an employee at the scores table for a league issued pinny to wear for the game. The pinny should be return upon completion of the game. Player will get charged for the pinny if it is not returned. Teams are not issued extra jerseys.

  • If you do not attend your first game, your jersey will be held at the scores table.

  • League communication will be through email and the "Remind" app. Check emails and text, to receive notifications with updates, reminders and urgent alerts from league directors.
