Spring Sixes Classic

Modeled after World Lacrosse Sixes rules, the Spring Sixes Classic is a men's six-on-six tournament. World Lacrosse Sixes is an exhilarating, action-packed version of the fastest game on two feet. Teams of 12-15 players are invited to compete in a classic-style tournament.

All teams will be guaranteed 3 games in a classic-style format. Players must be graduated from college to participate. Team rosters must have at least 12 players. Teams will be scheduled in a morning or afternoon block, to avoid long breaks.

Registration

Players are encouraged to organize a full team roster. If you do not have a team but would like to play, please register under "Free Agent Registration". Early registration is encouraged to secure your team's spot.

Player Cost: $100. Fee includes a team issued jersey.

Team Registration

To register a team, captains must complete the "Team Registration" form on the registrations page. After we receive your submission, we will open registration for your teammates.

Player Registration

Following the registration of your team, by your team captain, each individual team player is required to register under the "Player Registration" form on the registrations page. You will need to select your team name in order to register.

Free Agent Registration

If you do not have a team, but would like to play, please register under the "Free Agent Registration". We will pull from the free agent registrations if an existing team needs players. In addition, if we receive enough free agent requests we will create an "at large team".

General Rules

  • :30 second shot clock

  • Games played in four 8-minute quarters.

  • Goalies initiate play after goals are scored; face-offs occur only at the start of each quarter.

  • Played on a 70 x 36 meter field (approximately).

  • Rosters are comprised of 12-15 players, leading to more playing time and more touches on the ball. Emphasizes tempo, with fewer stoppages in play. Everyone plays both sides of the field (defense/offense); substitutions made on the fly.

  • 6 players on the field per team — 1 goalie + 5 field players — short-sticks only.
